Congratulations Long Elementary –
The “Now that’s an amazing strategy!” Award goes to Long Elementary School in St. Louis, MO, for its “Hero Chip” initiative. Students at Long receive a Hero Chip for every SeeReader lesson completed at 80% or higher. These chips can be redeemed for rewards such as taking a picture with their favorite teachers, choosing a story to read to their class, or having time to chat with the principal. Students also track their growth on individual charts they can bring home to share with their parents. Keep up the great work, Long Elementary!
